My name is Amy. I am a wife and mother of three. I have the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom. Over the years, I have found many ways to occupy the time not spent with my family. Some I still make time for and other's that have gone by the wayside. I have always loved to read and cook but I have come to discover that my real passion is baking. There is something magical about starting out with a dough or a batter and ending up with something completely different. It is a passion that encompasses all the senses and can be enjoyed by everyone. To help me learn even more about my favorite hobby, I am currently taking classes through my local community college in Baking and Pastry. It has been a great experience.
The Fabulous Baker Girl is all about celebrating life's most basic and simple pleasure -- food. I love to cook and bake for my family and I hope this site becomes a reflection of that.
